The Challenge
We invite windshield manufacturers to get a physics person to verify that resin
air exchange from wet vacuum injectors is a better method than evacuating the
majority of the air from the damage first.
Many of the largest companies in the world still use pressure injectors to fill
damaged glass. Most of these repairs turn out horrible. The customer then
elects to have a new windshield installed. This is BAD business. There is no
excuse to do this other than it gives these companies opportunities to sell
more glass. Worse yet some of these repair systems use a tool that has a high
frequency of causing more damage to the glass, crackouts mean more windshields
installed.
The "Super Cinch" has a challenge for all windshield repair
manufacturers. The challenge has been standing for over 4 years now, and not
one taker. The challenge is this: A field repair contest (repairs on vehicles
left out in the weather) on a variety of damage such as combination bulls-eyes,
stars, angle wing breaks, etc. If their equipment is so good why not take us up
on the challenge?
The rules for the contest:
-
All contestants have to do vertical repair on stars, and combos
-
No torches are allowed to be used on glass
-
All contestants have a maximum allowable time to complete filling of damage of
five minutes.
-
Maximum drill size is no larger than .022
-
All repairs cured with at least a 360 N.M. Ultra Violet lamp
-
All repairs will be judged by ordinary people.
We say it again: No manufacturer has taken us up on our challenge for nearly
four years now. No other equipment is capable of taking on the "Super Cinch".
Why hang onto obsolete equipment? It is hard to do something right, when the
process you use is backwards! Do it right, give the "Super Cinch" a try!
